Satin dresses

In the current vocabulary, satin is a thin fabric without visible weft with a glossy face and a dull back. Strictly meaning, satin is a weave type (the way in which the warp and weft wires cross each other). Thus, satin can designate all the fabrics (Cotton, wool, silk) elaborated by this type of weave.
