Woman with a bird cage

This painting has been realised by József Rippl-Rónai in 1892. I saw it during the exhibition “Masterpieces of Budapest” at the Luxembourg museum in Paris. I was impressed by this paint : the blue and green colours, the graceful woman, the contrast between the pale skin and the dark background and the charming bird in a cage.
