Norma Shearer (1902-1983) was an renowned American actress. She won an Oscar for her role in “The divorcee” in 1930. She was nominated for the Oscars for five other movies : “Their own desire” (1929), A free soul” (1931), “The Barretts of Wimpole street” (1934), “Romeo and Juliet” (1936) and “Marie Antoinette”(1938). She was a major actress of the studios MGM.
