Clifford Coffin (1913-1972) was an American fashion photographer considered as the greatest of Vogue’s photographers. During the 1940s and 1950s, he produced elegant, graceful and creative fashion photoshoots. He played an important part in fashion history : he covered the inauguration of the “new look” in 1947 by Christian Dior, encouraged the careers of famous models like Suzy Parker and discovered namely Audrey Hepburn (who was a model before acting).
