Design based on my photo of a multicolor plant (Imperata cylindrica, Herbe sanglante “Red Baron”; “herbe à paillotte”) at the Jardin des plantes in Paris.
“A tufted, upright plant with leaf blades that are emerald green on the bottom and deep red at the top. The color intensifies in late summer and fall.”
