Japanese garden in the Albert Kahn garden near Paris (Boulogne-Billancourt)

“The Japanese garden, comprising a village (1897) and a shrine (1908-1909), was created following Albert Kahn’s travels to Japan. The largest part of the garden in terms of area, it recreates in miniature Japanese landscapes, blending domestic architecture, Asian plants, and evocations of sacred sites.”
