UNIQUE HANDMADE NECKLACE CREATED IN PARIS BY ME. Materials : Mica, Garnet, mother of pearl and white pearls and a clasp in gilded brass with 24k fine gold (nickel free). UNIQUE PIECE. During the Mayan era (from 2000 BC to 1500 AD), builders used Mica stones to make temples shine in the sunlight. This is the case with Rosalila, built around 400 AD. The name “mica” comes from the Latin word “micare,” meaning to shine. Mica has metallic and glittery effects in the light. I named the piece “Alitzel” because it is a Mayan name meaning “smiling girl” or “daughter of light.”

The gemstone Mica has a crystalline structure in sheets reflecting light. Mica has a metallic sheen. The Great Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan contained large quantities of mica, resulting in a great brightness. With its glittery effect, this natural stone is now widely used in cosmetics.

All necklaces are handmade by me in Paris and are delivered in a high-end black imitation leather case with a gold outline and a black velvet interior. Missloveschic’s jewels are colorful, symmetrical and chic! Elegance + glamour = chic!
