My design based on my blur photo of a Bodice piece, ENGLAND (PROBABLY), c. 1850. DIAMONDS, GOLD, SILVER. This jewel is exposed in the exhibition “Joyaux dynastiques” at the Hôtel de la Marine in Paris.
“The Alexandre III bridge, 154 meters long and 45 meters wide, was built by engineers Jean Résal (1854-1919) and Amédée Alby (1862-1942), who were also the architects of the Debilly footbridge, for the Universal Exhibition of 1900 in Paris.” Source : https://paris1900.lartnouveau.com/ponts/pont_alexandre3.htm
It was a very dark night, we couldn’t see anything when suddenly, a white peony appeared… The whiteness of the flower was almost fluorescent. At the same time, geometric shapes twirled in the black sky. It was a beautiful and strange night… My pattern and my photo of a peony.
I was awed by the beauty of a pink peony ; i photographed this delicate flower.
