Travis Banton (1894-1958) was an American costume designer at the Paramount. He dressed hollywood stars such as Carole Lombard, Rita Hayworth, Jean Arthur, Claudette Colbert and Marlene Dietrich. He worked with Carole Lombard and Marlene Dietrich for many movies. He designed glamorous (exquisite fabrics) and sophisticated dresses (ornaments), following feminine curves.
