12th Century Sicilian art
Sicilian mosaics (Palerm) and Chanel’s Byzantine inspired cross brooch. This architecture is called « Arab-Norman » and dated from the 12th Century. It is a mix of byzantine art and islamic art. Julie Vos, vintage chanel and Ben Amun are Byzantine inspired jewelry brands.
