Vintage Halloween illustrations and paintings
Halloween’s origin dates back to the Ancient Druidic (Celtic) festival of Samhain taking place in Scotland, Wales and Ireland. On the night of October 31, about 2000 years ago, people celebrated Samhain. They believed that the ghosts of the deads returned to earth.
