A Japanese-French fusion Tea time at Sadaharu Aoki in Paris

Sadaharu Aoki is a reputed Japanese pastry maker. The Japanese flavours (black sesame, matcha…) add a Japanese touch to French pastries (eclairs, puff cakes, Opera…). My favourite pastry is the black sesame eclair. It is delicious!

I tasted also the matcha puff cake and It was very tasty. Matcha is a traditional Japanese green tea which is made from powdered green tea leaves. Besides, i savoured a delicate genmaicha tea (Japanese tea made from roasted tea leaves and toasted rice).

I went to the Aoki’s shop located 56, boulevard de Port-Royal 75005 paris. There are others shops in Paris.
