The painting “Lady Lavery” by Sir John Lavery

The Irish painter John Lavery (1856-1941) made a portrait of his wife Lady Lavery in 1922. It is a delicate, charming and graceful paint.  The warm light emanating from Lady Lavery is somptuous and contrasts with the dark background. The lady is very elegant with a steamy dress. The transparence and movement of the dress as well as the lady’s face are wonderful.

Among gold trees

Michael Aram’s home decor. I used the wonderful Gustav Klimt’s paint called “The tree of life” (1905). Klimt used oil painting techniques with gold paint : Source : http://www.gustav-klimt.com/
