The floral dress is from Red Valentino. The background (York wallcoverings) is a “toile de Jouy” : ” a type of printed calico with a characteristic floral, figure, or landscape design on a light background, typically used for upholstery or curtains. Originally made at Jouy-en-Josas, near Paris”.

Claude Monet painted the French Riviera and Antibes several times. This piece of art called “View seen from the Salis garden” was realized in 1888. Antibes is a well known town on the French Riviera, located between Cannes (12km) and Nice (20km). Antibes is a historic town ; it was the only town on the coast to be protected by ramparts.
