Elizabeth Bennet is a character of the Jane Austen’s novel Pride and prejudice published in 1813. She is the second daughter in the Bennet family. She is sharp minded, witty, clever and has clear opinions on people often too quickly (hasty judgements).
The book tells one of the most iconic love story in the litterature with Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. They will overcome obstacles (social class differences, familial issues…) and their mistakes of judgements to be happy together.

Catherine Morland is a Jane Austen’s character in the novel “Northanger Abbey” (written between 1798 and 1803 but published after the Jane Austen’s death in 1817). This book has been adapted in a tv film starring Felicity Jones.
In this book, Jane Austen parodies gothic novels (romance and supernatural, very popular in the late 18th century and early 19th century). It tells the story of a young and candid woman (17 years old) named Catherine Morland who has a vivid imagination and loves gothic novels. The book follows her first steps in the polite society of Bath and her discovery of the Northanger Abbey (house the wealthy family of her new friend Henry Tilney). Henry Tilney is a clever, warm and witty man.
