The fashion and Old Hollywood illustrator F. Earl Christy

F. Earl Christy (1883-1961) was a reknown American illustrator. He drew especially portraits of women (Pictorial review, American magazine, Modern Priscilla…) and realized illustrations of movie stars. Among the actresses he drew, there were Claudette Colbert, Carole Lombard and Shirley Temple. His Hollywood covers were published in magazines such as Photoplay, Modern screen, Picture play, Screen romances and Radio stars. Besides, F. Earl Christy also illustrated postcards. His illustrations were romantic, idealised and graceful.
