Claude Monet painted the French Riviera and Antibes several times. This piece of art called “View seen from the Salis garden” was realized in 1888. Antibes is a well known town on the French Riviera, located between Cannes (12km) and Nice (20km). Antibes is a historic town ; it was the only town on the coast to be protected by ramparts.
