Joseph Leombruno and Jack Bodi (1918-1986) were American fashion photographers based in Italy. They collaborated with famous magazines like Vogue, Glamour, House & Garden, Modern Bride, Town & Country, Novita and the NY Yimes during the 1950s and 1960s. Life and work partners, their partnership began in the 1940s and lasted 43 years. According to Bernadine Morris, fashion journalist at the NY Times, “Leombruno and Bodi were among the first Americans to photograph Parisian haute couture at the end of WWII”. They also made portraits of American actors in the Fifties. In the 1960s they became fashion designers in launching a knitwear line called “Micia” (“little cat”).
