Ennio Morricone (born in 1928 in Rome) is one of the greatest film composer. He is especially famous for his collaboration with the Italian director Sergio Leone.


He composed the music themes of the Spaghetti Westerns directed by Sergio Leone (“A fistful of Dollars”, “A fistful of dynamite”, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, Once upon a time in the West” and “My name is nobody”). Moreover, he realised the music of another movie of Sergio Leone “Once upon a time in America”.

Furthermore, he produced the soundtrack of Italian and French movies like “Cinema Paradiso”, “Investigation of a citizen above suspicion”, “Le clan des Sicilien”, “Le professionnel”, “Le marginal”, “Le casse” and “La cage aux folles”. Besides, he recently worked with Tarantino for three of his movies (“Inglorious basterds”, “Django unchained” and “The Hateful eight”). In 2016, he won his first Oscar (Best Original Score) for “The hateful eight”.
