The French vintage fashion designer Philippe Venet

Philippe Venet (Born in 1929) is a French fashion designer. He had been the assistant of Elsa Schiaparelli and Hubert de Givenchy. In 1962, he opened his own eponym couture house. Philippe Venet was particulary known for his beautiful coats. The house launched perfumes such as “Couture pour Elle” and “Eau de Couture”. Unfortunately, the house closed in 1994.
